报告摘要：
We start the talk from the notion of heights of algebraic numbers, and then review the Weil height machine, height of elliptic curves, together with the famous Gross-Zagierformula. Moving to general varieties or motives, we introduce the Beilinson-Bloch height. Finally, we explain our main results on the computation of central L-derivatives of automorphic forms of general ranks in terms of such height of special cycles.
报告人简介：
刘一峰，浙江大学数学高等研究院教授，主要从事代数数论、自守形式、代数几何领域的研究。2007年本科毕业于北京大学；2012年博士毕业于哥伦比亚大学，师从张寿武。随后在麻省理工学院从事博士后，西北大学任助理教授，耶鲁大学任副教授及教授；2021年回国加盟浙大。曾获2017年斯隆研究奖，2018年SASTRA拉马努金奖，2025年AIM Alexanderson奖。
